Hello, my name is Gabriel B. McBride, but you may know me better as greyeyesgabriel; and this is my poetry corner. I live in beautiful East Texas on Lake Palestine. I enjoy poetry and have been writing my own since 1990. I have compiled 4 books out of the poetry I have written so far, and continue writing; so, there may be more books to come. I have had several of my poems published in anthologies and won several awards from poetry.com, although there are very few that have read my complete works. I am still formating the first four and hope to have at least one ready for publication before the end of 2010; but it is my love of poetry that prompted me create this website. 

  I created greyeyesgabriel poetry to help poets get their work noticed and provide resources for poets that don't know where or how to go about getting their works published. I started the submission feed at tumblr because of the ease of allowing others to publish to my blog there; all authors retain their own copyrights and give me the right to publish their poetry in my syndicated feed that has a global reach. If you would like to get your poems into my feed then all you have to do is submit it through one of our submission forms. Once it has been reviewed by my staff and approved, it will appear in my feed; all submissions are subject to review. I have many poet friends all over the world and it is because of them and their efforts, as well as my own, that I have created greyeyesgabriel poetry.
